The City of Wilmington Citywide Spelling Bee took place on February 12 at Delaware Technical Community College, bringing together some of the brightest young scholars from across Wilmington for an unforgettable night of competition and celebration.

Students showed confidence, preparation, and a love for language as they took the stage and spelled their way through challenging rounds. Families, educators, and community leaders filled the room with encouragement and pride, highlighting the power of literacy and the importance of supporting our youth.

This event was more than a spelling bee. It was a reminder that strong readers become strong leaders. When we invest in literacy, we invest in the future of Delaware.
