what we do
The Truth is
INEQUITY AFFECTS US ALL
“The results of inequity and bias impact everything from suspension rates, to housing access, to health outcomes, to medical interventions, to job opportunity and promotions, to criminal sentencing, and even to the very safety of the water one drinks and air one breathes.”
ABIGAIL SPANBERGER, United States Representative from Virginia

We’re All Connected:
HOW THE UWDE NETWORK DRIVES CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY
We never work alone. For over 75 years, we’ve relied on individual, community, government, and corporate partners to help us in the trenches. Without our network, we wouldn’t be able to create and invest in programs, partner with other organizations, and mobilize people to create a tidal wave of impact throughout our region.
