The pandemic helped expose many things we already knew. While entire zip codes struggled, we saw others seemingly unaffected. But the pandemic brought something else to light, too. Amidst all the suffering, there was a growing number of people who wanted to help. People like you, who share our vision for a better Delaware and Salem County (NJ).
The truth is, if we want to make our communities more equitable, we have to come together, roll up our sleeves, and do the hard work. We need passionate, committed, and creative members of our communities to fight for our neighbors in need. We need people like you. Will you join us?
WAYS TO ADVOCATE
Legislators, county, city, and town councils and school boards write, vote on, and enact public policy. An advocate is someone who publicly supports or opposes public policies. In order to advocate properly, you need to know which bills, ordinances, or policies leaders are working to pass.
