The 3rd Annual Student EmPowerment Summit (Cumbre de Empoderamiento Estudiantil) is happening Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Polytech High School, Woodside, DE. United Way of Delaware. Register Here: https://uwde.org/events/latinos-unidos-student-summit/

This half-day gathering is all about amplifying student voices and building leadership in Latinos Unidos Student Unions & Associations—whether your club is just forming, growing, or re-energizing. But it’s not just for members—students, advisors, school administrators, and allies who support youth empowerment are also welcome!

Keynote speaker José Ignacio Castañeda Pérez, investigative reporter at Spotlight Delaware, will share insights on why using your voice matters—and how it can spark positive change.

There will be workshops, music, performances, peer networking, and a chance for your school to win $500 in a “Most Students Attending” challenge.

Best of all? It’s free thanks to generous sponsors. Buses will be provided from New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties to remove transportation barriers.

Register by October 3, 2025, to save your spot. Let’s make some noise, lift each other up, and work together toward more inclusive schools and communities. #AmplifyLatinoVoicesDE
