United Way of Delaware’s NexGen Program was noted in a US Department of Education Press Release for hosting 11 in-school Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion workshops, two virtual presentations, and virtual appointment slots for students and families during FAFSA Week of Action, December 9-13, 2024.

Delaware ranks fourth in all US States for FAFSA completion rate among high school seniors, with nearly 64% completing their FAFSA application, according to the National College Attainment Network. UWDE supports all Delaware students who need assistance with FAFSA. Students or their parents can schedule a free appointment with a coach at uwde.org/fafsa. SBM NexGen coaching is available in both English and Spanish.
