We maximize resources in our communities to help improve the quality of life for all people in Delaware & Salem County (NJ).
Change happens slowly. It doesn’t happens in one day, or after one discussion. Change is what happens when people show up everyday, willing, able, and ready to fight for better.
This past year, we saw a lot of people show up. When our children needed a safe place for remote learning, the community came together to open Learning Pods across the state. When Wilmington’s grade-schoolers started falling behind, educators and volunteers stepped in to help them develop better reading skills. And, when parents were laid off from work because of the pandemic, neighbors helped them feed their families.
Despite the incredible generosity and kindness we saw during the pandemic, the work is just getting started. The truth is …. Because change for some, isn’t change for all. J] And we won’t stop until opportunity and equity exist for all people in Delaware and Salem County (NJ).
