Educational and Enrichment Programming

The Justice in Education via Delaware Innovation (JEDI) partnership includes the Delaware Department of Education, United Way of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Diversifying Delaware’s Educator Workforce (DDEW). JEDI seeks to provide enriching and meaningful programs for Delaware educators, students, and their families.

Transformation Tuesdays: Weekly virtual learning and development sessions to support educators and school administrators.

Think Thursdays: Free film screenings for students, their parents, other family members, educators, and community members. Most screenings are available virtually via Zoom, but some are held in person.

Film screenings are in partnership with The Video Project, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that seeks to use documentary films to educate, inspire, and compel audiences to foster a more just and sustainable society. Visit the Department of Education Events page for the film screening schedule.

Parent Engagement Cafe: These events provide parents with expert views and information on various aspects of parenting. Parent Engagement Cafes offer both virtual and in-person events.
