Wilmington, DE — (April 21, 2025)

United Way of Delaware and Salem County (NJ) (UWDE) announced a $46,000 investment in Salem County through 16 partner agencies on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the office of Atlantic City Electric in Penns Grove, NJ. Earlier this year, UWDE issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify the most impactful ways to invest funds raised explicitly for the Salem community. The Salem County Advisory Committee (SCAC) collaborated with UWDE staff to evaluate the proposals and formulate the investment decisions.  For 2025, UWDE will invest $46,000, supporting 16 partner agencies crucial to making a meaningful difference in Salem County. These agencies, recognized as investment partners, play a vital role in advancing community initiatives. This investment is a testament to UWDE’s commitment to fostering community goodwill and creating lasting change through collaboration and support for dedicated partner organizations.
